In two days 3rd – 4th March 2020, the HSEQ Division – PV Drilling Corporation organized the inspection of Occupational
Health – Safety – Environment (Unannounced HSE Walkabout) at the bases as well as production facilities of Subsidiaries
and Joint Ventures, located in Phu My and Dong Xuyen Industrial zones, Oil Spill Response Base and PTSC Supply Base in
Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. This is a periodic inspection of PV Drilling Corporation, to inspect the compliance with the
Occupational Health – Safety – Environment regulations at the workshops. The inspection results document the maintenance
and improvement efforts in Safety - Occupational Health - Environment which are well maintained in most of the
Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures. However, there are still some non-conformances discovered during the inspection
process, focusing on the following contents: The compliance of workers on PPE regulations, Safety of equipment and
safety related to equipment of Emergency Response and Explosion Prevention.
The inspection of HSE at PVD Tech
In addition, the HSEQ Division also inspected the implementation of COVID-19 prevention in factories, production bases
of Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures. The actual inspection results show that most of the Units have implemented COVID-19
prevention measures in accordance with the Directives of PVN and PV Drilling, the most notable subsidiaries are PVD Tech
and Vietubes. Measures implemented include: Mandatory body temperature measurement for visitors; customers are required
to declare medical information, wear a mask and wash their hands with Gel / disinfectant solution before entering the
Workshop, Production Base; Monitor the health status of employees daily; Propagate and update information on COVID-19
epidemic in safety meetings, briefings, via email and internal information boards.
In the context of the increasingly complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, HSEQ Division has suggested
Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures to review the actual implementation in the office area, workshops and proactively take
adaptive measures, ensuring the strict and full implementation in accordance with the request of PVN and PV Drilling, as
well as ensuring effective prevention and control of the epidemic.
