At 9:45 AM on December 26, 2024, at the Mizuho Bank office in Ho Chi Minh City, a Handover Ceremony took place between Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) and Seadrill Prospero Ltd. This ceremony marked the transfer of ownership of a three-legged multi-purpose jack-up rig with cantilever to PV Drilling.
The event was attended by senior leaders of PV Drilling, representatives from Seadrill Prospero Ltd, along with a team of experts and Mizuho Bank.

Immediately after taking ownership and completing the handover process, PV Drilling will proceed with reactivating the rig to ensure that it operates as good as new. The rig is scheduled to be put into operation from the fourth quarter of 2025 to meet the growing demand for jack-up rigs in both the domestic and regional markets.
