Indonesia is one of the key markets in Southeast Asia, with consistently high demand for jack-up rigs and related services for oil and gas activities. With the goal of increasing to one million barrels per day by 2030, Indonesia will need to maintain the operating of 8-10 jack-up rigs continuously, opening up many opportunities for capable drilling contractors and drilling service providers. Recognizing the potential of these opportunities, PV Drilling has been actively expanding its fleet and well technical services to support exploration and production activities through the establishment of a Joint Venture (JV) in Indonesia. The JV is expected to commence operations in Quarter 2 2025.

The events served as an opportunity for PV Drilling to reaffirm its long-term commitment to maintaining and enhancing safety and service standards. The achievements of the rig crew in Indonesia have laid a strong foundation for PV Drilling to further capitalize on its core strengths, deliver greater value to clients, and solidify its presence across Southeast Asia.
