In the morning of January 17th, in the atmosphere leading up to the 2025 Lunar New Year of the Snake, representatives of the Board of Management of Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling), PVD Drilling Division (PVD DD), and PVD Overseas Company visited Malaysia to extend New Year greetings to the employees working on the jack-up rig PV DRILLING VI.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen The Son mentioned some of the outstanding achievements of the PV DRILLING VI rig in 2024. Specifically, the rig contributed to the success of the field development project at Bokor Drilling Platform Echo (BODP-E) in the waters of the state of Sarawak, Eastern Malaysia (the report was published on The Well Voice Magazine issued by Malaysia Petroleum Management - MPM); MPM also recently honored PCSB for the Amaryllis-1 well for having the lowest drilling cost in 2024... In these shared achievements, the clients acknowledged and appreciated the significant contribution of the PV DRILLING VI jack-up rig.
Based on the results achieved in 2024, the representative of PVD DD, Deputy Director Tran Thanh Toan expressed his joy and strong belief in the team of professional and experienced staff, who will manage and operate the PV DRILLING VI rig safely and efficiently, achieving even greater success in 2025.
