On April 4, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Petroleum Well Logging Company Limited (PVD Logging) and Bien Dong Petroleum Operating Company (BIENDONG POC) held a signing ceremony for the contract package “Provision of slick-line, e-line, perforation and cased hole services”.
Attending the contract signing ceremony, representing BIENDONG POC were General Director Pham Tien Dung, Deputy General Directors Nguyen Viet Luu and Hoang Minh Hai, along with Heads/Deputy Heads of functional departments. Representing PV Drilling Corporation were Chairman of the Board of Directors Mai The Toan and President & CEO Nguyen Xuan Cuong. Representing PVD Logging were Chairwoman Kieu Thi Hoai Minh, Director Bui Xuan Hieu, Deputy Directors, and professional staff directly involved in the project.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Tien Dung – General Director of BIENDONG POC emphasized that the bidding process was conducted in an equal and transparent manner. The fact that PVD Logging – a company in PVN’s Ecosystem – won the bid is not only a pleasure but also evidence of the increasing capacity of Vietnamese enterprises and engineers. PVD Logging has accompanied BIENDONG POC since the early days of developing the Hai Thach - Moc Tinh project in 2012, and to date, the project has become one of the typical projects, making positive contributions to national energy security. He expressed his expectation that PVD Logging will maintain stable service quality, satisfy technical requirements, and contribute to ensuring efficiency, progress, and reputation for both parties, especially in the context of increasing gas demand.

PVD Logging is aware that the “Provision of slick-line, e-line, perforation and cased hole services” project holds extremely significant meaning for BIENDONG POC in this period. This is also a high-value and large-scale contract for PVD Logging to date. BIENDONG POC's Moc Tinh and Hai Thach fields both have high temperatures and pressures, and most of the wells have complex designs, making well intervention services always a difficult challenge. Despite the pressure, the contractor's representative affirmed their confidence thanks to their experience cooperating with BIENDONG POC since 2012 in services such as Mud logging, Wireline, Slickline, Well testing, etc., along with strong investment in high-tech equipment and personnel training, committing to providing stable quality services at optimal costs, not only for this project but also for subsequent contracts.

Regarding this specific project, the Chairman of PV Drilling requested PVD Logging to execute this contract with the utmost seriousness and professionalism of a PV Drilling employee when providing services to clients, and with the passion, enthusiasm, and practical experience of PVD Logging's staff who have participated in many similar projects.
