In accordance with the 2024 Work Program and the directive of the Party Committee of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Group’s Party Committee) regarding the revision, evaluation and classification of collectives and individuals in 2024, on December 17, 2024, the Party Committee of Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) held a Conference to review, evaluate and classify the quality of Party organizations, collectives, and individual leaders and managers at the Corporation level.
In attendance and providing guidance at the conference were comrade Phan Anh Minh – member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the Party Committee, and Head of Organization and Human Resource Management Division of the Group. Representing the PV Drilling Party Committee were comrade Nguyen Xuan Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, President and CEO; comrade Mai The Toan – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; comrade Nguyen The Son – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board of Directors; along with other members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, the Board of Supervisors, and the Chief Accountant.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Cuong highly appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee and the Corporation in 2024, from fulfilling political tasks, building the Party organization, production and business, and other activities and works... In addition to the achievements that the Party Committee and the Corporation have achieved in 2024, the Party Committee’s Secretary requested that all collectives and individuals conduct a serious and honest disciplinary review, linking individual responsibility with the collective spirit of building a virtuous and strong PV Drilling Party organization; specific directions, plans, and solutions must be proposed to overcome existing limitations. The disciplinary review serves as the basis for proposing the evaluation and classification of the collective and individual leaders and managers objectively, and at the same time, learning lessons to ensure the better fulfillment of the political tasks of the PV Drilling Party Committee, especially in the new term of 2025 – 2030.

The conference focused on the review and evaluation of 2024 performance for the collectives of the Board of Management, the Board of Directors, the Standing Committee of the Corporation’s Party Committee, and individuals such as the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee; members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Management, the Board of Supervisors, and the Chief Accountant of the Corporation. Based on the disciplinary review, the conference proceeded to vote and propose the classification of the Party organization, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, and the Corporation's leaders in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Phan Anh Minh acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of unity and cohesion under the motto "One Team – One Goal" the efforts of the Party Committee's Standing Committee, the Board of Directors, and the Board of Management of PV Drilling in leadership and management, as well as the consensus and determination of all Party members, employees, and workers of PV Drilling in exceeding the planned targets for 2024. Through the disciplinary process, he hopes that the Party Committee of PV Drilling Corporation will learn lessons from experiences to continue promoting strengths, overcoming weaknesses, and striving for greater and more comprehensive results in 2025, contributing to the overall success of the Group's Party Committee in the new phase.
