Recently, Malaysia Petroleum Management - MPM recorded and honored the Amaryllis-1 well as the well with the lowest cost in 2024, in which the PV DRILLING VI rig of the Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) contributed a significant role.
PV DRILLING VI is the most modern generation rig among the jack-up rigs that PV Drilling owns. In 2024 alone, the rig carried out 12 drilling wells in the Malaysian market, in particular, the Amaryllis-1 drilling well for client Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) had the lowest cost.
MPM's recognition of the Amaryllis-1 well's achievement of having the lowest drilling cost, in which the PV DRILLING VI rig made a significant contribution, has demonstrated the professionalism and outstanding capabilities of the rig's management and operation team of PVD DD in particular and PV Drilling in general, in their journey to conquer the Malaysian market.

Previously, on February 28, 2024, the PV DRILLING VI rig achieved the milestone of 9 consecutive years of safe operation, without any lost time incidents (Zero LTI), recognized by the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
Throughout its operation, the PV DRILLING VI rig has continuously operated safely and achieved high efficiency, building a solid reputation and brand value in the domestic and Southeast Asian drilling markets.
