On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, Mr. Lai Hoang Anh – Director of PVD Drilling Division (PVD DD) shared about the outstanding achievements of the Division in 2024, along with strong action plans to successfully implement the motto "Reach out to the ocean – Sustain the future" in 2025, contributing to the overall success of the parent company PV Drilling in the new growth cycle.

In the morning of January 17th, in the atmosphere leading up to the 2025 Lunar New Year of the Snake, representatives of the Board of Management of Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling), PVD Drilling Division (PVD DD), and PVD Overseas Company visited Malaysia to extend New Year greetings to the employees working on the jack-up rig PV DRILLING VI.

Recently, Malaysia Petroleum Management - MPM recorded and honored the Amaryllis-1 well as the well with the lowest cost in 2024, in which the PV  DRILLING VI rig of the Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling) contributed a significant role.

PVD Offshore and the journey of supplying geothermal drilling manpower service in Japan

Implementing the 'reaching out to the ocean' strategy of the Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Service Corporation (PV Drilling), since 2016, PVD Offshore Services Co., Ltd. (PVD Offshore) has begun its first steps of its geothermal drilling manpower supply service in the Japanese market with only 5-6 employees. By 2024, this number has increased to 67 employees, who are highly appreciated by clients for the quality of human resources. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake, we had an interview with Mr. Tran Thanh Tan - Chairman of the Board of Members cum Director of PVD Offshore to better understand the journey of the Company's personnel team establishing themselves in Japan.
