PV DRILLING X Jack-up rig was built based on the standard design of Keppel Offshore & Marine, the KFELS MOD V Super B Class, and is classed by ABS. The rig is designed to operate in the waters of Southeast Asia, South Africa, and other regions around the world, with a maximum water depth capability of 106,68 meters (350 feet).
The rig is equipped with modern machinery and the latest technologies, particularly its drilling package, which mainly consists of equipment supplied by National Oilwell Varco (NOV), including the HPS-1000-2E-AC-KT Top Drive, SSGD-4600 Drawworks, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) system, and three NOV 14-P-220 Mud Pumps, among other equipment.
PV DRILLING X is capable of drilling wells to a depth of 35,000 feet (equivalent to 10,668 meters measured depth) and can accommodate up to 150 personnel working onboard simultaneously.
The PV DRILLING X rig is going to be operated in Quarter 2, 2027.
